You are given this letter upon arrival at the destination:

  Dearest Students and Staff!

The plane ride was exciting and the train has brought everybody to Kagoshima Prefecture, Kyushu! The weather is looking rainy so I bought everybody a cute personalized rain poncho and put one in each of your dufflebags: you get a kittycat princess, ducky, or a black piggie!

During work times, students and teachers will wear the school P.E. track suits. During other times, students must be in uniform. Principal Narimatsu sure hopes you didn't bring any prohibited items in your luggage. Behave nicely and thank the people you work with. Let’s enjoy friendship and teamwork in the warm and toasty South, mes amies!!! Yahoo!

Love,

Principal Narimatsu

[ooc: Each kid can choose to do something different each day, or choose the same thing all week if they want. They are paired with a classmate when they show up to the job site.]

((OOC: This takes place a little before the Dopple event.))

Sometimes, in order to get what one wanted, an investment had to be made. When it came to people, that involved finding out what they wanted and providing it. Whether companionship, money, protection, or whatever. There were a lot of options, and it took a great deal of effort and attention to find the correct answer.

Shichiro, for his part, had done his research, and after his last conversation, he'd arranged a date that he was certain would win Kylar's heart. To ensure his success, he'd also packed lunches- all meat for both of them- and bottles of pure water, and a few other things he'd put in his backpack, just in case. He also rehearsed what he knew of their interactions, and had a plan of attack. Coming on too strong would just spook Kylar. He'd have to take it slow, play it smooth, and make sure Kylar could trust him. It'd be slow, but it'd be worth it, if he could manage it.

That'd be the trick, though. For now, Shichiro waited at the gates of the shrine, it being the closest landmark that a foreigner could find easily. After that, it'd be a little bit of a hike, but... that also meant that no one would interrupt them! And that would be absolutely fantastic... if everything went according to plan. For now, thinking of that made Shichiro grin and his shadow start wagging its tails. Heh heh, this was going to be good!
